Girls Fight Back

Last Spring, a sorority at UT and the WRC collaborated and brought Erin Weed to campus. She has a very powerful program that gives women and girls the confidence they need to stay safe. Erin is a very entertaining presenter and after the program I went home to check out her website.
I'm not sure how it came to play, but she asked if I'd be interested in being on her book review committee. She was writing a book and wanted some friends to review it for her. I thought it'd be fun, so I agreed. Over the course of several months, Erin sent me various chapters of the book. I'd review it and send it back with my comments. She was a fun person to review for, always humorus comments! The book is a great for college girls.
This afternoon a copy of the book came in the mail! I was stoked! I was even more stoked to see my name in the acknowledgements! So I thought I'd give a plug for her book on my blog! She's going to be starting a book tour this Fall. I'm not going to say much more about it, because I want you to go and pick up a copy. If you know of a young gal starting college in the Fall this would be a great graduation gift! If you know of a college gal already in college, pick up a copy, college students LOVE mail!
